The WWE Survivor Series 2015 results from Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia for the first half of Sunday night’s pay-per-view have included the two championship tournament semifinals matches, a traditional Survivor Series elimination match, and the Divas Championship on the line. Would it be Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens or Dean Ambrose competing for the title? Paige also attempted to win the Divas title for her third reign as champion as the latest installment of WWE’s annual PPV results took place on Sunday.
According to PW Torch in their Nov. 22 report, Roman Reigns faced Dean Ambrose in the first tournament semifinals matchup to start off the pay-per-view. It was a back-and-forth matchup with plenty of near falls and finishing moves attempted, but ultimately it was Reigns coming through with his spear tackle to get the pin on Del Rio. A backstage interview showed Dean Ambrose come in to congratulate him, but only with a look and slap to the chest, rather than any words. Ambrose would then go on to defeat Kevin Owens by hitting a Dirty Deeds in another great matchup, the second of the night.
They rolled out a traditional Survivor Series elimination match with surprise entrants. On one side it was Ryback, Lucha Dragons and The Usos. They competed against the team of New Day, Sheamus and King Barrett. It came down to a four on three advantage for the heel team, but once Big E got eliminated, his New Day teammates decided they had to help their hurt team member get backstage, basically walking off on Sheamus. They left Sheamus to face Ryback, Kalisto and Jey Uso, who all hit big moves in the finish for Ryback to get his team the win.
Up next, Paige and Charlotte fought over the WWE Divas Championship. The two traded some intense moves, with Charlotte locking on her Figure Eight or holds close to it several times. Paige managed to escape the move a few times, but ultimately Charlotte caught her out on the crowd barrier doing a bit too much celebrating and taunting. After tackling Paige to the floor, Charlotte tossed Paige back into the ring and put on a final Figure Eight hold, grabbing a submission victory to keep her title.
Still to come at the pay-per-view were some of the biggest matches of the night. Undertaker and Kane were set to team up against two members of the Wyatt Family, while Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose would fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Also, Tyler Breeze was scheduled for a match against Dolph Ziggler in their ongoing feud as the WWE Survivor Series results continued from Atlanta.
