Wolf Alice hit The MET hard last night (9.29.15) on the first date of their US Tour.
Wolf Alice, played a solid set featuring every single track off of their debut album, My Love Is Cool, along with a few tracks off of their earlier EPs. Their presence wasn’t quite what was expected, but their sound was better than one could have hoped. Singer Ellie Rowsell’s voice was a major draw when first hearing their album, and in person she sounded even more magical.
Once they figure out exactly what they are as a band (from the way he looks and acts, it would seem the bassist thinks they’re a full-on punk band), they’ll be on track to becoming very, very big.
Drenge and Made Violent opened.
