John Cena fans won’t get to watch the talented athlete dominate in the ring at WWE Monday Night RAW next week. After getting his nose broken, it appears some mandatory time off is required to heal after surgery. According to Wrestle Zone on Thursday, the star has been removed from WWE Monday Night RAW and the WWE weekend event after his emergency surgery.
The broken nose last Monday night didn’t stop John Cena from winning the match. Even though fans watched in horror as it was obvious that John’s nose was broken after getting a knee to the face during a match, he continued the fight. Bleeding and tired, after winning he held his belt above his head and beamed with pride. Then he got medical attention for his broken nose.
While some wrestlers would have halted the match, the athlete didn’t stop after being hurt during the match. According to Bleacher Report on Friday, this mentality is one reason the wrestler is the most popular in WWE. Unwilling to lose and always focused on winning, the relatable character is what every viewer wants to achieve in their own lives.
So how long will John Cena stay out of the ring? Some WWE insiders are saying he might need a few weeks off, but most people realize this is John Cena we are talking about and his love of wrestling is his first priority. It’s safe to say he won’t be gone too long, but whether his nose will be healed when he returns is an entirely different story.
