I am going to say this once, and I hope you can understand where I am coming from. It is my understanding when you hunt, you hunt for food. You track, put your instincts and skill up against the prey. When you have worked at hunting successfully without the use of modern technology, and pursuing your prey, butchering and cleaning the meat for food; you are a skilled hunter.
Now compare that to luring an animal out into the open as you stand or sit at the opening and shoot. You use no skill, you did not track, you didn’t even move. The animal lies there, you cut off his head, tusks, or feet and leave the rest of the remains to rot. No food, just a so-called “trophy” to hang on your living room wall so the rest of the world knows what a barbarian you really are. You are really an executioner. You cannot stand to have a creation of God’s beauty living in the open, so you must kill it to make your living room look “better”. God weeps to see his creation misused in this way.
I dare say I can make a comparison to murderers, terrorists, abortionists, and Isis. They kill for no reason, none whatsoever. They do it to make themselves look “big and important” in their own eyes, they don’t care what others think. They don’t care that God gave us His creation to manage in a responsible manner. If all the animals become extinct, are you going to start randomly hunting humans and mounting them on your wall, or even stuff them? I am not against hunting, or shooting in self defense, as long as you use the food God has provided. Hunting is not for me and that is my prerogative, as well as my entitled opinion. But I do see a parallel between how we treat humans by the way of how we treat animals, and even God.
