When God makes a promise, He keeps it. We should have never doubt that God will keep His promise and do what He says He will do. God’s promises are not always fulfilled when we want or expect them to be fulfilled, but they are fulfilled in God’s own time. God knows the best time to act.
When God made a promise to Abraham, because he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and multiply you.” (Hebrews 6:13)
The promises God makes to us today are based on the same promises He made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He made a covenant with them that their descendants will have riches, land and be blessed. God swore by His promise and since there is no one greater than God, He swore by Himself.
Man might break his promise to you. Woman might break her promise to you.
When God makes a promise, He keeps it.
All of His promises are “Yea” and “Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20-21). They will come to pass! So, who are you going to believe and trust . . . people’s promises or those made by God?
