If you missed the opportunity to live-stream it last night, the Verizon IndyCar Series has made available the entire “Celebrating the Life of Justin Wilson” event that took place on Sept. 29. You can watch it now by using the media player included with this article.
Taking place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the nearly hour-long event was the United States racing community’s memorial for Wilson, who died in August after being struck by debris from the wrecking vehicle of Sage Karam during IndyCar’s Pocono race. Wilson’s funeral services were held in his native England earlier this month, after Wilson’s donated organs saved the lives of six others in need.
Numerous initiatives to raise money for his wife and two children are ongoing through the Wilson Children’s Fund, most notably an eBay auction orchestrated by Wilson’s former teammate, Graham Rahal.
