A trip to London’s Warner Bros. Studio Tour for Christmas dinner in Hogwarts’ Great Hall would’ve been perfect for any “Harry Potter” fan’s Christmas list, but you’ve missed your chance.
The studio announced via their website that the event sold out in 24 hours. The studio has not indicated whether or not they will add an additional dinner due to the overwhelming response.
The dinner for those 18 and over is the first of its kind for the studio tour and is set for Thursday, Dec. 3, on the set of Hogwarts’ Great Hall, which will of course be decorated for the holiday, including props from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” such as flaming Christmas puddings and hams studded with cherries. All guests will receive a wand and be able to tour the studio–with many other sets decorated for the holiday, as well–and the dinner itself will include appetizers, Butterbeer, a two-course Christmas dinner with vegetarian options available, and dessert on Platform 9 ¾ with the Hogwarts Express. The evening will end with music, dancing, and a bar, with the whole event lasting from 6.pm. until midnight.
In the meantime, the tour is still featuring plenty of special events, including some centering around the Dark Arts in celebration of Halloween.
