Black Friday is getting so huge that many of the big name stores have started offering deals early. Black Friday ads are expected to roll out any day, but Walmart and Target have both released their toy catalogs and the great sales that go along with them.
According to the Christian Science Monitor on November 7, both Walmart and Target have stretched their sale items through an entire season this year. While these two stores are the first to unveil their pre-season sales, Best Buy is expected to roll out sale items before Black Friday also getting a jump on offering deals.
Walmart and Target released their toy catalogs online, which is the way things are done today. This offers may offer some reminiscing moments for the baby boomers out there. Waiting for these toy ads to come out online each year is a modern-day version of waiting for the Sears and Roebuck Christmas toy catalog come in the mail, which many of you baby boomers can remember.
Those were the days when that Sears catalog delivered to your house by the mailman signaled the start of the Christmas season for kids. Today it is all about TV commercials and online ads!
As Patch reports, Walmart has 40 pages of toys online making for one huge selection and the prices are valid through December 24. Walmart’s online toy catalog is offering up some gaming technology that you might want to check out if a game console, like Nintendo 4, is on your list.
Walmart’s gaming prices may be hard to beat with PlayStation 4 “Star Wars Battlefront” bundle with 500 GB listed for only $345. Another highlighted deal is the Nintendo Wii U “Mario Kart 8” Deluxe bundle for only $299.
Target is also trying to entice you to shop for the game lovers on your list with a Xbox One, Rock Band Band-in-a-Box Software bundle for at $249. Both Walmart and Target have an overwhelming selection of toys, games and electronics that your kids most likely have on their holiday list already this year.
