It’s a testament to both the staff and the volunteers at this shelter that they manage to save so many dogs. Bruno was saved! He is safe.
This is Bruno’s last chance.
Bruno is out of time. It doesn’t matter that he’s a great dog. It doesn’t matter that he loves to play with other dogs. It doesn’t matter that the volunteers and shelter staff think he’s awesome (their word). If he doesn’t get adopted or rescued by tomorrow, he may be killed when his kennel is needed.
What volunteers said about him:
He is ADORABLE! Everyone who meets him, LOVES him. He is playing great in play groups! He likes other dogs! He is HW positive, that is the only reason that we can think this boy has not been adopted. He appears housebroken. His kennel is always immaculate. Please share he is out of time!”
The volunteers think he is a bulldog/boxer mix, but he is listed as a pit bull. He’s sweet and affectionate. He listens and is gentle. There’s nothing negative to say about him. He loves everyone! But that doesn’t matter– if his kennel is needed, he dies.

ADOPT INFO: All dogs available for adoption are vetted and ready to go and expected to leave when you apply to adopt them. No holds will be placed on a dog. If you want to adopt then go to the shelter and meet the dog as soon as possible.
BRUNO IS ON THE EUTH LIST FOR SPACE!!! HE HAS BEEN THERE TOO LONG!! HE HAS BEEN SIGNED OFF AND HE CAN BE EUTHED ANYTIME AFTER 9AM TOMORROW IF HIS KENNEL IS NEEDED!!!! IF YOU CAN TAKE BRUNO, YOU MUST EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org BY 9AM TOMORROW MORNING (5-28) and please CC email@example.com! Please make the subject DO NOT EUTH and include his name, ID number, and your contact info. HE MUST BE PICKED UP BY 3PM TOMORROW (5-28)! PLEASE, do not email unless you are serious and will pick him up tomorrow! Thank you!
All dogs must be adopted in person. If you are out of area and willing to drive in and meet the dog and put in an application, we may be able to help get the dog to you when ready to go. If you are out of state and want to adopt a dog, you will need to find a rescue to pull, arrange transport, the dog will need a vet issued health cert for travel, and, most likely, temp foster while all the arrangements are being made.
Sharing saves lives. Please forward this article about Bruno to your friends, family and coworkers. Even if you can’t help this dog, someone you know might be able to. Sharing only takes a moment — please do it for Bruno.
