The American Family Association just released a notice to all voters that Leader Mitch McConnell of the U.S. Senate has announced that there will be a vote coming before the Senate next week to completely defund Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in the nation and they receive millions of dollars from taxpayers; even from those who decry the horrors of abortion.
This vote is coming after the recent revelation that they (Planned Parenthood) were actually selling the mutilated body parts of babies they had aborted; receiving large sums of money. Through most media outlets, a video has been released showing the shocking fact that Planned Parenthood is harvesting and selling the body parts of these little dead babies.
This breaks the hearts of thousand of couples who would gladly give a good home, and life, to a child that ends up militated and thrown into an incinerator or dumpster. Only God knows what these precious little ones could have contributed to the world if given a chance to live. They are butchered.
People are all up in arms when they hear about an animal being mistreated; but so many of them give little or no thought to what Planned Parenthood is doing to human babies and getting paid millions and millions for doing it – this is worse than cases where people are tried and convicted for “murder for hire” of older humans.
The American Family Association reports:
“Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) quickly garnered at least 32 co-sponsors for S. 1881: A bill to prohibit Federal funding of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
“The key language of the bill reads, “…no Federal funds may be made available to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, or to any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, or clinics.”
“Now is the best opportunity we’ve ever had to finally defund Planned Parenthood the $540 million dollars they receive from taxpayers! The bill will instead direct that money to organizations that provide for women’s health – but don’t abort unborn children.”
As barbaric as Planned Parenthood’s actions are, there are some senators who want to continue funding it with YOUR tax dollars.” Is your senator one of them?
Plan Parenthood touts that they provide important health screenings and help for women, but this is apparently not true. Upon calling several of the local offices and asking if they provide mammograms or pap smears, the reply was, “No, we don’t do those services; but we can recommend you to those who do!”
When asked if these services were free, they said each provider charged their own regular medical fees. And they do not perform abortions for free either. Any other such serious surgery would, by law, have to be performed in a hospital, not a clinic.
The American Family Associations wants to call on all those against abortion, (and especially their tax money going to perform these hideous procedures), to contact their individual senators to urge them strongly to vote in favor of S.1181 – which would prohibit tax dollars to go to Planned Parenthood.
The American Family Association is urging citizens to take the time to call their representatives since this is the most effective way to let them know how you feel about this bill. You can find the phone numbers for your particular representative by using this link.
They feel phone calls are the surest and quickest, but some may prefer to send an e-mail. You can find a pre-written message at this link to fill out and send electronically. There is also a place to add your own personal message.
Their overall message: “Urge your senators to vote in favor of S. 1881, to protect women’s health and defund Planned Parenthood!” You may wish to subscribe to this page by using the tab below. It is free.
