For starters, there is The Crocodile Botswanga, a 2014 comedy story about an inhumane dictator who is hell bent on sabotaging the career of one of the best football players in Africa, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Another riveting movie, is Small Cuts, a tale recounting the unhappy life of a journalist who wants more out of life than his dull wife can offer him. The Minister, is a political story that seeks to expose the corruption that occurs under a French Minister’s watch. Lolirock, offers a little something different. It’s an animated television series that centers around three rock stars who are going on tour. And last but not least is, Not My Type, an interesting story about two passionate lovers who are headed for disaster due to their vastly different social and cultural backgrounds. Le crocodile du Botswanga – (The Crocodile Botswanga) will air Sunday, September 6 at 8:30p ET.: Let the games begin! Leslie, a talented football player from Botswanga, Africa is on his rise to the top. As his career excels so does his reputation, catching the attention of Bobo, a ruthless dictator. Chaos erupts when Leslie discovers that Bobo is jealous and wants to humiliate him.
Petites coupures – (Small Cuts) will air Monday, September 7 at 11:00pm ET / 8:00pm PT.: The movie follows Bruno, a communist newspaper journalist, finds himself torn between his unhappy marriage and his stressful job – leading to the start of a midlife crisis. Between helping family members gain political influence and finding everlasting love, Bruno’s life turns from bad to worse as he tries to keep everyone happy. Wanting a more fulfilled life, he secretly begins to cheat on his wife with three other women.
L’exercice de l’état – (The Minister) airs Tuesday, September 8 at 8:30p ET / 5:30pm PT.: A César award-winning political drama starring Olivier Gourmet as Bertrand Saint-Jean, a Minister of Transport, who is alerted by his chief of staff that a human body was discovered in a local ravine. Lolirock will air on Thursday, September 10 at 5:05pm ET / 2:05pm PT. This French animated television series follows three talented musicians that have formed an all-girl rock group Lolirock. Watch as these young rock stars perform all around the world with their new music and dance routines.
Pas son genre – (Not My Type) will debut on Thursday, September 10 at 8:30p ET / 5:30pm PT. It’s a love story following Clément, a Parisian philosophy teacher, who becomes enamored with Jennifer, a beautiful hair dresser he meets while living in Arras. With a new romance at hand, Jennifer and Clément perceive relationships very differently. Clément who is not used to a monogamous relationship now has to give all of his attention to Jennifer. Chaos erupts as their differing relationship perspectives cause a social and cultural divide between them. This César nominated film stars Émilie Dequenne as Jennifer and Loïc Corbery as Clément.
