TV5MONDE USA has many different programs for their December schedule. The channel has food competitions, music documentaries, Louis Malle films, and a few comedies this month. The first highlight is “May Fools.” It will be airing on December 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET. It’s a 1990 comedy that Louis Malle wrote and directed. The film takes place during the 1968 student and worker uprisings. Though for one family it’s not the riots that affect them, it’s their own fighting. The family is fighting over an inheritance, which blinds them from the revolution.
“The Straight Line,” another highlight will be airing on December 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET. It’s a 2011 drama that stars Rachida Brakni and Roman Goupil. It’s about a woman that tries to rebuild her life after five years in jail. This next highlight is for anyone who loves cooking competitions. The 2015 cooking show is called “Who Will Be The Next Great Baker.” It’ll be airing on December 12 at 10:55 p.m. ET. The show is hosted by Virginie Guilhaume.The show has eight contestants and they are challenged to create their favorite childhood dessert. The winner will have the chance to become one of France’s top pastry chefs.
On December 13, the film “The Grad Job” will be airing at 8:30 p.m. ET. It’s a comedy about friends who can’t wait to graduate high school. Their plan is to steal the blueprint to their final exam, so they can pass and be done with school. The last highlight is a 2010 documentary, “Between Earth And Sky: The Festival Gnaoua.” It will be airing on December 14 at 3:50 p.m. ET. It’s about the Gnaoua World Music Festival.
