Not only is it Friday, but it is a national holiday. Today is National Tequila Day and toasting to the occasion is mandatory. It is safe to say that everyone’s favorite watering hole will be partaking in the festivities today. New York City bars and restaurants are going to be boasting steals and deals on Margaritas and other tequila based drinks. While that sounds great, we’ve got an even better suggestion. Celebrate the day with a triple cocktail tequila treat. We are offering up delicious recipes for the CRUZ Old Fashioned, TeQUIviation, and the Tres Aperol Sunset.
These three cocktails are made with some of the most delicious tequila options in the game. CRUZ tequila is an authentic 100% estate grown blue agave tequila that is handcrafted a little at a time. Since CRUZ is crafted in small batches, it retains its smooth flavor that can be enjoyed in any cocktail. QUI Tequila is the world’s first and only platinum, clear, extra-añejo tequila. Each and every batch of tequila has been aged over three years which helps retain its aromatic flavor. The sip of this tequila is super-smooth and doesn’t carry a harsh aftertaste. Tres Agaves tequila is crafted with volcanic spring-water collected from a nearby Tequila Volcano. Tres Agaves carries a perfectly balanced taste that blends in but stands out in any cocktail. These three tequilas have their own special qualities but they all taste hellagood in a cocktail!
Check out the trio of tequila cocktails below. Be sure to mix up one, two or a few to celebrate the occasion. And as always, drink responsibly.
