Polo Beach – Hawaii
Situated adjacent to the Polo Club on Oahu, Polo Beach is one of the most isolated beaches on the island and often overlooked by tourists. The fascinating features of this beach are unlike any other on the island of Oahu. Horses can be seen in the pasture on both sides with a long-winding path extending straight down to the beach. Tourists seeing these horses are often surprised as they observe them galloping along the beach. Seven Mile Beach – Jamaica
At first glance when visiting the small beach town of Negril in Jamaica, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary until you travel a little further to the western end of town. Here on the western tip lies one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. The name “Seven Mile Beach” is referred to its seven-mile stretch while in actuality the beach is only four miles in length. Whether it’s seven miles or four miles in length, the fact is that this stretch of white sand is the longest on the island of Jamaica.
Vacationers opting to stay at the more exclusive resorts can choose the northern end of the beach while smaller family-owned hotels occupy the southern end. A number of outdoor activities can be enjoyed such as swimming, snorkeling, cliff diving from heights above 40 feet, or just relaxing among the palm trees that line the beach. Madeira – Portugal
Madeira often referred to as “Pearl of the Atlantic”, is only a short distance from Portugal and the mainland of Europe. The island first discovered by Portuguese navigators around the 15th century has become a vital part of Portugal tourism. Today Madeira is a popular tourist destination for people both young and old. The southern region is supplied by water distributed from the northern section which stays wetter and helps flowers and crops prosper all year round.
