NIS America today announced, that its action-RPG “The Witch and the Hundred Knight” would be getting a rebirth on the PlayStation 4, as they release a “Revival Edition” of the game in North America and Europe, next March.
“The Witch and the Hundred Knight” was previously released on the PlayStation 3, and follows the journey of the legendary Hundred Knight, who makes a pact with Metallia, the Swamp Witch, to destroy the pillars that were built to prevent her swamp from spreading. Along the way though, the Hundred Knight begins to wonder, just why it is that the other witches shun her, and why she is prevented from leaving the poisonous swamp.
The “Revival Edition” will feature new graphics, as well as Alchemy, which will let players upgrade their weapons using catalysts, found in the new area, the Tower of Illusion. The Tower of Illusion will test player’s strength, as they acquire new loot, and collect Concentrated Mana, allowing gamers to summon Metallia, and play as the Swamp Witch for the first time. A new trailer for the “Revival Edition” can be found up top, along with screenshots in the slideshow to the right.
NIS America will release the “The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition” digitally and physically for the PlayStation 4 in North America on Mar. 1, 2016. The European release will follow a few days later, on Mar. 4, 2016. To learn more about the game, you can visit the official site.
