Today, we’re going to be taking a look at MyPakage. It may not be the biggest or the most well known, but from what I can tell, it is ready to take on the world. The following is the story about a Canadian underpants company, the mission of which is to “support life’s adventures through innovation and comfort.
Though my package and MyPakage will be spending a lot of time together over the course of the next few weeks while these undies are put through their paces, it is clear right from the start that the underpants made by MyPakage are in a league of their own. Taken directly from the company’s own mission, MyPakage is looking to change the way us men look at our underwear and the passel of issues concerning this semi-private article of clothing by addressing two key areas: innovation and comfort. Let’s take a closer look at MyPakage, shall we?
With a focus on changing the underwear game from the get-go, MyPakage is blending some of the most innovative fabric technology with advanced construction techniques to build underwear that is peerless in regard to fit, comfort, support, and style. How? By turning the whole process inside out and creating a garment that is, first and foremost, package-centric.
The MyPakage Difference
The main difference between MyPakage undies and all the other underpants out there today is the MyPakage Keyhole Comfort Technology. The difference becomes obvious when these underpants are turned inside out. Up front, there is a three-dimensional internal pouch that is designed to provide unprecedented support, and thanks to that support, unprecedented comfort.
While the package-cradling pouch is the most obvious difference, the fabric from which this underwear is made special, too. MyPakage uses a blend of 95% Modal and 5% Spandex. Modal is a natural fiber made from Beech trees that is 50% more absorbent than cotton while remaining very breathable. Also, thanks to this Modal blend, MyPakage underwear is super soft, yet resistant to wrinkles and pilling.
Lastly, MyPakage took a close look at the pucker panel (the panel between the front and rear panels) and removed or relocated any annoying seams. This prevents having to sit on any seams or stitching and all but guarantees the prevention of any rubbing or chafing when wearing these undies. As mentioned before, innovation and comfort were two main goals for MyPakage, and it looks like they’ve done everything in their power to make it happen.
