The Hampton Social, the newest concept from restaurateur Brad Parker is now open. The 7,000 sq. ft., 300-seat restaurant resembles the relaxing, upscale atmosphere of the Hamptons and offers coastal cuisine and summer themed, craft cocktails. Every detail, from the menu fare to the maritime aesthetics, are intended to evoke a relaxed, vacation-like mindset.
“We wanted to bring a fresh dining experience to Chicago,” states owner Brad Parker “The focus will be on providing quality cuisine and excellent service in a refreshing and relaxed setting where groups can socialize and unwind.”
The restaurant features lunch and dinner service daily with weekend brunch scheduled to launch mid-August. A weekday happy hour will feature live music, half-price glasses of rose and half-price pizzas from from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m
Lunch and dinner menus are comprised of fresh seafood starters including Maryland Crab Cakes, Spanish Calamari, Coconut Shrimp, P.E.I Mussels and more. A Raw Bar section offers seasonal Ceviche, a Shrimp Cocktail, a Seafood Tower, Snow Crab Claws a Maine Style Lobster Roll (creamy goodness), Mama’s Deviled Eggs, deviled eggs with a lobster twist, Montauk Mac, a lobster macaroni and cheese dish, F.G.T Sliders, made with lobster, fried green tomatoes, lettuce and housemate slaw and a Lobster Salad.
Featured craft cocktails include the Gatsby G&T, made with gin, lime, Fever-Tree Bitter lemon tonic, juniper berries and torched rosemary, the Surf Lodge, made with bourbon, lemon, raspberry, mint and egg whites, the Skinny Dip, made with tequila, mezcal, lime, prickly pear and cinnamon syrup as well as the And a Bottle of Rum, a rum cocktail served in a whole coconut.
Two relaxed, living room areas feature couches, rocking chairs and hammocks, which are suspended from the ceiling with braided rope. Green foliage covers a portion of the wall in a separate dining room, which is illuminated by strings of light draped from the ceiling.
