Cisco: “Are we just going to make Tinder app for potential meta humans? Because I’m sure merging with Stein and randomly bursting into flames sounds like the biggest swipe left of all time.”
“The Fury of Firestorm” is the October 27 episode of “The Flash.” Be sure to check out the slideshow for more quotes from the episode. “The Flash” airs Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. CT on the CW.
Thankfully, the wasn’t a meta of the week in addition to the quest to find a new half of Firestorm. It would have been a lot. Still, it was pretty hilarious that Patty’s shark man metahuman was actually real and popped up at the end. Would Cisco approve of the name shark man?
Francine is stick, really? Seriously? This was the most annoying way to get Iris to talk to her again. It was a predictable way to get around Iris’ first epic shutdown, but at least Iris found another reason to kick Francine out of central city.
Honestly, Francine was just unnecessary drama. At least this ordeal highlighted the strength of Iris and Joe’s relationship. It would have been really easy to throw some tension between them in there, but their relationship is stronger because they went through this. What’s your thoughts on all the Francine drama?
While Westallen is the endgame in the comics, it’s hard to really ship them on the show, at least personally. We haven’t really gotten to fall in love with Barry and Iris. We’ve seen that Barry has feelings for her…while she was dating and then engaged to Eddie.
It’s a little difficult to root for a couple when half of it is happily in another relationship. Sorry Barry, but it’s weird to root for you to break up a happy relationship. There haven’t been enough sparks between Barry and Iris to hold onto in order to sail a ship and keep it sailing (get it?) during the times when there are zero romantic interactions between the two supposed lovebirds.
This is why the “she’s not Iris” line was such a stupid way to postpone Barry and Patty. Yes, by the end of the hour it looks like Barry is open to trying to new things, which in this case means Patty, so it’s not like Barry spent an episode or two debating whether or not to ask out Patty. But still, Barry’s objection felt like it came out of nowhere. What are your shipper thoughts?
The running gag of the show is definitely how terrible the security is at S.T.A.R. labs. No one seemed to notice that Harrison Wells was lurking about. How is it that hard for geniuses to keep a single building under surveillance?
We could have had to wait for Joe or Patty to have the really awkward talk with Barry about Harrison being alive. Can you imagine that conversation? Um, no thank you. Barry running into Harrison on his own was a much more entertaining, and it helped that Harrison saved Barry’s life.
What did you think of the episode? There’s this theory going around that Earth 2 Barry is Zoom. What are your thoughts?Leave me your thoughts in a comment below?
