The holiday season is the time for giving and good-will. There are many ways to give back to the community, and help others during this season. Many people struggle with the symptoms and pain of arthritis. The annual jingle bell fun run is an opportunity to give back to others, have fun, and participate in an outdoor running event.
By joining in the annual jingle bell fun run, runners get to participate in a great event, and raise money for arthritis research. This run is held annually in December in Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area. The Seattle event is on Sunday, December 13th. Other locations for the run are Port Angeles and Skagit County on December 5th, and Bellingham on December 12th.
This event is open to all levels of ability, and is technically a run or walk event. Dogs are not allowed to participate in this event. The run encourages participants to engage in the holiday spirit through donning holiday theme costumes or tying jingle bells on their shoes. Creativity in costume design, so it’s good to make it fun!
To participate, individuals or teams can sign up online at here. Participants help raise money and awareness for arthritis research through traditional sponsorship or other fund-raising events. These are listed on the website for the run.
