The Texans vs. Saints 2015 live stream and TV game on the schedule Sunday afternoon will be part of a two-game slate wrapping up NFL preseason Week 3. New Orleans, who will have home field advantage, will try to claim their first win of the preseason, while Houston looks for their second. Both teams failed to make the postseason in 2014-15 and will be looking to make strides in the coming season. The NFL live streaming and televised action arrives via FOX on Sunday.
According to an Aug. 29 report via Battle Red Blog at SBNation, it’s expected that Houston’s starters won’t be on the field much, if at all, against New Orleans in Sunday’s game. Reportedly, head coach Bill O’Brien wants to get a look at a lot of the non-starting players as roster cuts are supposed to be made on Tuesday. When it’s all said and done, O’Brien will need to have trimmed down his final roster to 75 players. In addition to that, Houston will keep key players off the field to avoid injury, and to prevent scouting for these two teams’ Week 12 matchup.
Today’s game for the Saints features the debut of cornerback Delvin Breaux, who makes his return to New Orleans. He was unable to go in the Saints’ last preseason game due to injury but is reportedly ready to go today. Breaux played his most recent season (2013-14) in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Prior to that, he was a member of the New Orleans VooDoo, an Arena Football team, and the Louisiana Bay Vipers, a member of the Gridiron Development Football League. Beaux said he welcomes opportunities on the field, commenting “I’m here for a reason and want to show the Who Dat nation what I can do.”
The Las Vegas odds first opened with a point spread of three points in favor of the Saints for today’s game and that number has moved up a half point at many books. Today’s over/under points total is set around 44 points for the complete game. Neither team is among the top contenders for the Super Bowl in 2016 as New Orleans is at 50 to 1 odds and Houston is a 60 to 1 longshot on the futures list.
