Things became a little less chaotic last week with the ousting of “Chaos” Kass from the game, but an even bigger blindside is on the horizon in tonight’s episode of “Survivor: Cambodia.”
With Kass out of the game (and becoming the first member of this season’s jury), it looked like Abi, Kelly and Ciera were on the outs. But there are still 12 people left in the game, and an alliance of nine is way too big…there is no way that those nine make the Final Nine. As Ciera explained at the last Tribal Council, she is here to win, so if she is indeed on the outs, you can be sure to expect her not to go down without a fight. Here’s the synopsis from CBS:
Episode 8 – “You Call, We’ll Haul” – An intense water challenge leaves castaways thirsty for a much-needed reward. Also, immunity hangs in the balance as castaways attempt to steady themselves, and a shocking tribal council takes an unexpected turn, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Analysis. It looks like there is all kinds of fireworks in store for us tonight, and something tells me it won’t be Ciera. How could they tease us with a “major” blindside if it ends up being Ciera? It could be Joe, but that would mean he would have to lose an individual Immunity Challenge, an area where he dominates. Fishbach is also someone who could be in trouble, with Savage and Jeremy saying “we might have to let him go.” Especially if they catch wind that he may flip to vote out Joe with Ciera…Who else might they be talking about? As we know from previous episodes, Jeremy wants Joe to stay around, because he continues to be a meat shield for Jeremy.
Remember both Jeremy and Kelley possess Immunity Idols, so the “unexpected turn” at Tribal may very well be someone using their Idol to shift the game. The way that Kelley and Jeremy have talked about their Idols, however, make it seem unlikely they would play them unless they were directly targeted.
So who will get blindsided this week? Make sure to check out the episode tonight on CBS and come back here later for my full recap, analysis and of course, my exclusive interview with the voted-out castaway tomorrow!
