Did you know? Grammy Award-winning pop-rock band Train is kicking off their Picasso At The Wheel Summer tour with friends The Fray & Matt Nathanson and they have a fun message for fans.
I took advantage of a great opportunity to chat with popular lead singer from the Pop Rock band Train. That’s right Grammy Award Winner Pat Monohan of the band Train is ready to jam this Summer. The conversation focused on how viewers/listeners can become eligible for a chance to win a VIP music experience at any Live Nation concert anywhere in the U.S. this summer.
Did you know? In addition to the tour, the band is also taking on a new musical deed by partnering with Pringles® during its inaugural Summer Music Jam, which gives fans exclusive access to their favorite artists and amazing music content. Train teamed up with the brand to offer ten lucky music fans and a friend the chance to win a VIP music experience at any Live Nation concert in the U.S.
As a part of this Summer concert season, Pringles is also engaging percussionists of varying styles and backgrounds to incorporate the brand’s iconic can into their music, using them as instruments for their musical expression. These percussion prodigies will tune up their creativity to make music videos available starting in June via the following website link here.
Did you know? The Rock & Roll band Train, currently consists of Pat Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (lead guitar), Jerry Becker (rhythm guitar and piano), Hector Maldonado (bass), Drew Shoals (drums), Nikita Houston (backing vocals) and Sakai Smith (backing vocals).

The Grammy Award winning Rock and Roll Band Train is hitting the road on their Bulletproof Picasso Summer Tour lead singer Pat Monahan joins me, Tradina DeMary Baltimore Budget Events Examiner via atombash.com to talk about the tour, life on the road and a fun opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with some of their favorite music artists this summer.
Tradina DeMary: Good morning Pat.
Pat Monohan: Good morning Tradina, how are you?
Tradina DeMary: Ok, can you tell me about your tour and what cities are you visiting?
Pat Monohan: You know, we are going to visit 45 cities on this tour. It starts in just about a week in California where the band is from and goes thru the east coast, well the Midwest. And, then the east coast and then goes up into Canada and back around the west coast but 45 cities with the Fray and Matt Nathanson two bands and friends of ours that we love. And then, we for the first time ever, have teamed up with a product that we love called Pringles® and they’ve never done this before either, but they’re having a promotion that’s called Summer Jam.Where if you buy a sleeve of Pringles and then you enter the code online at pringles.com/music you can win an opportunity to have a VIP access to either a Train concert, or many other live nation tours that are going to be out this summer. And, so you win that with a friend and it sounds like a pretty great time.
Tradina DeMary: Well Pat, give me a glimpse in what behind the scenes the tour is going to look like.
Pat Monohan: Behind the scenes is real weird Tradina. You don’t wanna be there unless you’re prepared. Anything can happen, I mean you might quit your job afterwards cause things are to fun. But, the truth is you get a behind the scenes look at what it’s really like sometimes. Things are not easy and sometimes it’s more fun that you could ever imagine. And, so everyday is a little different, but being on stage is always supper fun and I think we’ll have those people come out on stage and be able to watch the show from wherever they want. And hang out, steal stuff, whatever, we don’t care.
Tradina DeMary: Well can you explain more to my Baltimore readership what exactly is the Summer Jam?
Pat Monohan: Well the Summer Jam is I think is Pringles’® way of trying to, they I don’t think they can make enough Pringles for people because they sell them so quickly. This is I think their way of saying thank you to their fans. And, also give them a chance to kind of interact with what I think a great American tradition is. Summer concerts and amphitheaters is where you get to have this great experience in your hometown or maybe somebody else’s hometown. Because, I think they’ll fly you to a different city if that’s where it’s headed. And then you get to experience not just a great American tradition but you also get to hang out with maybe your favorite band, it’s cool.
Tradina DeMary: Ok, is there anything special; I know you talked earlier but, what else can fans expect on your tour?
Pat Monohan: Nothing, there is nothing special on this tour. It’s ugh, you with me? Are these jokes working cause they don’t seem to be?
Tradina DeMary: Mildy laughing. I’m here.
Pat Monohan: This tour is just going to be like a whole lot of fun, I think. Matt Nathanson & The Fray as I mentioned. Every night we’ll hopefully get on stage together and do some fun stuff and we’ll have old and new songs. And, we plan on getting people up onstage to have dance parties and I don’t know, there are a lot of stuff that we have planned. So, you can go to Twitter and make requests too and we can change our sets every night.
Tradina DeMary: Ok, sounds cool. Thanks a lot for your time.
Pat Monohan: Yeah, thank you.
