Louis: “Donna, look at me. Does it look like I need to be hungry and paranoid?”

It was a bad guys reunion tonight. Everyone who had ever had a problem with Mike, Harvey, or Jessica appeared. Well okay maybe not everyone, but you get the point. It was a little ridiculous.
Sure, whenever Daniel Hardman or Charles Forstman popped up, immediately we were all filled with dread and hatred. Annoyance was another emotion that made an appearance. Can’t we just be done with these guys already? Let’s have some new villains! These guys have lost their entertainment value.
Jack, pick a side already. We have seen him upset with his current predicament with Hardman, and he’s been a decent guy to people at the firm. This guy disappeared when he brought Hardman’s proposal to the firm.
Sure, maybe he was just accepting his fate and playing the part. His conversation with Louis suggested that there was something more at play, but it is still difficult to completely trust Jack. Jessica was right – he doesn’t deserve his name on the door.
Weddings sure are tricky when there’s a giant secret dictating the plans. Mike and Rachel breaking up because of Mike’s secret at this point just doesn’t make sense. It was hard to believe that Rachel would dump Mike (or vice versa) because the wedding would have to be smaller, or there couldn’t be an announcement in the New York Times.
Maybe this is more of a big deal for people who have been dreaming of their wedding their entire lives, but if you aren’t one of those people, it’s hard to see why all of this would be an issue. Weddings are about marrying the person you love. Nothing else should really matter. This drama between the two of them felt unnecessary.
The one good thing that came out of this wedding drama was we got to see Rachel’s mom. We don’t see her all that much. Rachel’s desire to tell her mom Mike’s secret was easy to understand.
Plus, this allowed us to see a different way that Mike’s secret is affecting Rachel’s life. Her professional life being in jeopardy is something Rachel’s made peace with. Now Mike’s secret is damaging her relationships with her family. Is Donna right? Would Rachel’s mom knowing Mike’s secret only be a burden for her?
