On Friday’s season premiere of Strike Back, Cinemax viewers saw Damien Scott and Michael Stonebridge tear through a Thailand marketplace on a jet ski and a motorcycle respectively. But after the credits rolled, actors Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester and co-executive producer Michael J. Bassett told fans how the impressive action sequence came together in the first ‘How To Strike Back‘ video of season four.
You can check out ‘How To Jet Ski Through A Marketplace’ by using the media player included with this article. In the two-minute clip, Bassett explains the idea behind the scene, and Stapleton and Winchester reminisce about what it was like to make it happen. Fans will be surprised to know that one of them was hurt during rehearsals – don’t worry, he’s okay!
Robson Green, who plays Scott and Stonebridge’s superior Philip Locke, is also on hand to chip in his two cents about the season’s first major action moments.
The ‘How To Strike Back‘ videos are some of the best behind-the-scenes clips that any network has put together for a TV show. Over the last four seasons, we’ve been able to enjoy Stapleton and Winchester’s often hilarious commentary as they’ve discussed some of the series’ biggest moments, such as Stonebridge’s naked incinerator fight from season three or how Stapleton may or may not have broken Shane Taylor’s ribs during the filming of season two. Judging from Friday night’s clip, we’re in for another season of as much fun behind the scenes as there is during them.
Strike Back continues next Friday at 10 PM ET/PT on Cinemax.
