Punderson Manor Lodge in Newbury, Ohio is the site of several upcoming events that are sure to give you supernatural thrills and chills and add a touch of mystery to your life. Newbury is approximately a 45 minute drive from Cleveland.
A Punderson Manor Haunted History tour is being offered on Thursday, October 29 and will give visitors a glimpse of the area’s history with information about how the lake was formed by glaciers, about the Iroquois Indians that inhabited the area, the building of the Manor House and about strange happenings at Punderson over the years. Guests will meet at the front of the Manor at 8:30 p.m. where the history tour will begin. Highlight of the event is the telling of ghost stories and unexplained tales of supernatural occurrences at Punderson Manor as you sit around a blazing bonfire. This event is free.
On Friday, October 30, you can partake of an overnight event — “All Hallow’s Eve with Laura Lyn,” a world renowned psychic medium and paranormal investigator. Enjoy a special catered group dinner where you can mingle with fellow paranormal fans and also receive a personalized reading from Laura. Following dinner, there will be a question and answer session and then guests will join Laura as she conducts a ghostly walk of the Pundeson Manor grounds. Cost of the event starts at $168 per person (based on double occupancy) and includes overnight accommodations in a standard Lodge room, the catered dinner, the presentation and question & answer session with Laura Lyn and the guided paranormal walk of the Punderson Manor grounds.
On Halloween (Saturday, October 31) guests can enjoy “Ghosts in the Attic with Nick Fischbach,” a resident historian and former Punderson State Park manager. The evening starts with a catered group dinner and will be followed with a guided haunted history tour of the Manor House (including the very haunted 3rd floor which is never open to the public). The evening will conclude with some time spent around a roaring fire sharing tales. Cost is $138 per person and includes overnight accommodations in a standard Lodge room (double occupancy), the catered group dinner, the presentation with Nick Fischbach and the behind-the-scenes haunted history tour of the Manor House.
