Singer and songwriter Jason Little, who is known to many as a many of Keith Sweat’s group Ole Skool is ending 2015 on a high note with a new single (“Let Me Know”), a new video and plans to hit the road reminding people that R&B still lives.
“It feels good to be able to share my music with the world and see the way the fans are responding,” Little says. “It lets me know that people will support good music, but we as artist have to do our part in bringing it to them.”
His single “Let Me Know” was based on a real-life situation and the video is as well, though Little says there are some things the viewer will have to guess about. “The song is about how a man feels as though his lady might be neglecting him for someone else” he explains, “but is she really or is it in his head?” This video also marks a new title for the R&B artist: Co-Director along with Courtney Bush.
“It was a lot of fun to be a part of the creative process of the video,” he says. “I’m definitely looking to continue learning and growing as an artist as well as be more involved in the creative process.” Almost immediately responses began coming in on Youtube about the video and the single. Donald Young wrote: “The Lord has truly blessed you with a gifted voice. May he continue to direct your path.” Monique B. Purple called the message of the song and video “deep”, and Brese Squires called it “a slow jam that has a lot of meaning”, adding “good R&B music lives on 4-ever.”
