I’ve been thinking, since Amir Sadollah has spent so much time commentating about MMA on the radio instead of actually fighting, it’s time that he should be some sort of coach on a team for “The Ultimate Fighter”.
It’s highly unlikely “The Ultimate Fighter” will do another season featuring comeback fighters like the one they did won by Matt Serra, as they tried a new fight gym format last season where the gym with the most points after the first 12 fights would win $200,000 & one fighter would represent each team in the finale for $300,000 & a trophy.
“The Ultimate Fighter” filmed its show in South Florida last season instead of in Las Vegas. Assuming they do go back to filming in Vegas, Xtreme Couture would be a great choice for a gym to participate because they’re in that area.
Not only that, Sadollah has fought for that gym. In my personal opinion, Sadollah should be an assistant coach for Xtreme Couture on the program; he would have needed to have fought more if he wanted to have any chance of being their head coach.
My dream opponents for Xtreme Couture on “The Ultimate Fighter” would be Shamrock MMA, because the two made up half of the gyms competing on the short-lived “Fight Master: Bellator MMA”. And both Randy Couture and Ken Shamrock are members of the UFC Hall of Fame.
So please, Sadollah, get off your keister & literally teach your MMA knowledge to the new fighters.
