The Seahawks vs. Chiefs live stream and televised game arrives for the 2015 NFL preseason schedule on Friday night with last year’s runner-up to the Patriots in action. While Seattle was a Super Bowl representative last year, Kansas City failed to make the playoffs from the AFC side of the league. Both teams look to get to the postseason this year, with the Seahawks among the favorites to win it all. The NFL live streaming online and TV coverage of tonight’s game arrives via the NFL Network.
According to KCChiefs.com website on Aug. 21, this will mark the first meeting between the two teams since last year’s victory by Kansas City over the Seahawks 24-20. That game was the Chiefs’ fifth-straight victory and featured the defense holding off three attempts on fourth down by their opposition. Rusher Jamaal Charles finished with 20 carries for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the game, one of his best of the season. The Chiefs failed to qualify for the postseason at 9-7 but also defeated the other team in that year’s Super Bowl.
While Kansas City has started their preseason slate off 1-0, the runner-ups to the championship are 0-1. In their first preseason matchup, the Seahawks fell 22-20 at home to the Denver Broncos. The unlikely hero was quarterback Brock Osweiler who led five scoring drives. It’s expected that he’ll probably be watching Peyton Manning from the bench this season. For Seattle, they saw the most production at the QB spot from R.J. Archer, with this year’s starter, Russell Wilson playing just one possession for 12 yards.
In tonight’s game, expect more of the same with the key personnel not so likely to be on the field a ton. The home team Chiefs first opened at 1-1/2 point favorites on the spread and have since moved up to three point favorites. Tonight’s over/under points total is around 40 to 41 points depending on the book. In terms of Super Bowl odds, Seattle, at 6 to 1, is second only to the Packers. The Chiefs are in the top 10 or 11 teams and have odds to win it all in 2016 of 35 to 1.
