The under served coffee shop market of Roswell, Georgia and the North Fulton County corridor of Metro Atlanta will get some relief, this week at Omaha-headquartered, Scooter’s Coffee opens its first shop in the South on November 13, 2015. Scooter’s is experiencing rapid growth in all corners of the country and offers a wide variety of coffee and food options for customers.
Scooter’s Roswell franchise will be located at 550 W. Crossville Road, which is right on Hwy 92. Scooter’s is opening a modern and high tech shop with free Wi-Fi, USB charging stations, a large meeting room and a drive-thru window for those looking to get back on the road. It now looks like residents of North Fulton will have an option when it comes to coffee.
“This opening marks yet another milestone in a year full of impressive accomplishments,” explains Don Eckles, CEO and co-founder of Scooter’s Coffee. “The Atlanta market is among the top in the nation in nearly every area of economic significance and has a unique reputation for its warm and welcoming culture. We look forward to becoming a part of this bustling community.”
The proprietors of this location are Jon and Deanna Erwin, who are former Kansas City Multi-Unit Franchisees, They are excited to be in Atlanta.
“We’ve watched the Scooter’s brand experience a large amount of success in the Midwest market, and we knew that we could recreate that same magic in the great state of Georgia,” said Deanna Erwin. “After spending nearly a year here getting to know the wonderful people, we couldn’t be more excited about this grand opening!”
The grand opening will have a tie in with one of the players from a local professional sports team. Atlanta Hawks sharp-shooter, Kyle Korver will be lending a hand since his foundation will be front and center. The Kyle Korver Foundation strives to improve the lives of children and families that are in need in and around the community. Coffee lovers will have the chance to add a “Korver Jump Shot” of espresso to their order for one dollar extra and the proceeds will benefit the Kyle Korver Foundation. The dollar “Korver Jump Shot” of espresso makes customer eligible to win, Atlanta Hawks tickets, a signed Kyle Korver basketball and a $25 gift card from Scooter’s.
Friday may be the grand opening, but the fun continues next week as a week of specials will be offered as follows in Roswell: Monday, November 16th is a $1 medium Caramelicious; Tuesday, November 17th is a $1 medium Mocha or White Mocha; come in Wednesday, November 18th for $1 medium fruit smoothies; Thursday, November 19th is a $1 medium Candy Bar Drink; and Friday, November 20th get half-off any drink, any size.
