Ask any girl what she likes to spend her extra money on and I can guarantee that nine out of 10 will say shoes. The downside? Spending money on something with so many options can get pretty expensive pretty fast. If you’re dying to expand your shoe collection but short on cash, OneClique may be the answer your looking for. I first came upon this company flipping through an People Style Watch magazine and I was hooked. I checked them out online and for the longest time ALL their products were sold out. But before I get ahead of myself, let me explain the OneClique concept: Depending on the style of shoe you’re looking for, you pick out a Heel and then a Top to create your shoe. You lift the latch on the Top and slide the Top into the Heel, starting with the toe while making sure to align all three grooves to ensure there’s no gapping at the front. Last, you lower the latch and Click the heel and Top together. The result? A pretty high heeled shoe that you can interchange with other tops and heels to create an entirely new pair, literally with the click of a latch! Yes, you read that right: three simple steps and you now have a new shoe!
Because there are five different ‘Tops’ and four different ‘Heels’ to choose from (not to mention different colors as well), the possibilities as to the types of shoe you can create are almost endless (340 to be exact!). The Top styles include gladiator, bootie, peep-toe, closed-toe, and single-strap; Heel styles include wedge, block, platform, and stiletto, The website allows you to design your own shoe under the Styler tab by choosing a Top and color, then a Heel and color, with a preview of your shoe to the right with three different view options. If you aren’t feeling very creative, you can also click on the Shop tab and then click on a Top or Heel style to see all the possible color and top/heel combinations for that style. That option is best if you have a general idea of what you want and would rather see all the options at once rather than building your own shoe from scratch and having to adjust things here and there if you aren’t crazy about your original selection.
One of the most attractive things about OneClique shoes is the price. Most Tops run $50 to $56 while Heels are between $46 and $52. If you were to buy the most expensive Top (Bootie) with the most expensive Heel (wedge), it would still only set you back about $108 before shipping. The best part? Once you buy a Top and a Heel, you get more than your money’s worth out of them because you can use them with other Tops and Heels. Buy three items on OneClique’s website and you also receive free shipping. Now that’s what I call getting the most bang for your buck! In order to stay aware of OneClique’s latest sales and promotions, I recommend signing up on their website with your email address. Because the different styles of Tops and Heels are constantly sold out, signing up for their newsletter is also a good way to know when they are back in stock. Case in point: as I write this article, the bootie, peep-toe, and closed-toe Tops are sold out at the moment. I’m on their email list to stay updated on their latest news and I promise they don’t flood your inbox!
