Okay, it is mid-week, you’re tired and the weekend couldn’t come soon enough. Sound about right? Well, no worries. You don’t have to wait for the weekend to let your hair down and have a little fun. There are so many opportunities to have fun any day of the week thanks to amazing happy hours all over Orange County.
Nothing screams, fun, like a mechanical bull, some rock n’ roll and cowboys. Saddle Ranch in Costa Mesa has got it going on before you even walk through the door. Located at The Triangle, you can see from the street this Wild West facade complete with horses, cowboys and sexy saloon legs hanging out the window.
To add to the excitement, the atmosphere inside is rocking too! They have a mechanical bull to ride, an exciting mix of rock n’ roll and country music playing, a lively bar and jumbo portion of food and drink. It makes for a fun venue if you are out with friends or with the family. It is loud, wild, friendly and delicious.
Although anytime is a great to visit the Saddle Ranch, happy hour is always best. Luckily, happy hour is five days a week, Monday through Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm. It is a rare and exciting find to have a happy hour offered on Friday!
What is even better is that there isn’t a special menu of only a few select items offered during happy hour. The menu is simple; half off ALL drinks and appetizers. Yes, all drinks, even their specialty drinks. Many of the cocktails offered are a little on the sweet side, so I recommend partaking in the Blood Marys. I love the Death Valley Bloody Mary, because it is the spiciest. Although, the Fallen Angel sounds interesting with Jalapeno and Chipotle Peppers.
They have a wide selection of Bloody Marys and during brunch they are unlimited as well as Mimosas. Brunch is not just on Sundays either. In fact Brunch is offered every day until 3:00pm and the bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas are only $10.99!!!
It is crazy that all appetizers are 50% off, because they are meals in themselves. The BBQ Baby Back Ribs are amazing and huge and the Jalapeno Mac & Cheese is to die for. You get try them all with the Monster Platter, which is perfect for sharing and at half-price it is a steal.
Even though it is not a happy hour item, you can’t leave without experiencing the Cotton Candy Tower. It is 3-feet of pink cotton candy for $9.99. It is best shared with a group and if you are visiting with kids, it a crowd-pleaser.
So what you do you say? Let’s saddle-up and giddy up over to Saddle Ranch for a week day pick-me-up! Have a few drinks and see you long you last on the bull. It is great for laughs! Happy hour five days a week leaves a lot of opportunity to have some fun, let your hair down and enjoy some cocktails with friends and family! YeeHaw!
