Over the last several years I’ve diligently tried a variety of different “skin oils” on my already oily skin, trying to keep the faith that these oils will eventually bring balance to my complexion and the unattractive sheen and excess sebum will ease. So far, no luck.
Enter Rosemira skincare. Like all the products I use, Rosemira makes beauty blends that are organic, free of toxins and artificial fragrances and include mostly plant/flower based ingredients. Even though I was hesitant to use yet another oil on my skin, I thought I’d give Rosemira a try. Their Beauty Revitalizing Serum is described as “beauty in a bottle” and includes Sea Buckthorn Berry, Evening Primrose and Borage Seed Oils, Carrot and Rose Essential Oils. Sounds like a lot of oils right? After reading the ingredient list I have to admit I wasn’t feeling to hopeful that this “beauty in a bottle” serum would be any different than any of the many other face oils I’ve tried.
But I have to admit there is something special about Rosemira face oils. They absorb quickly, so quickly that less than a minute after you apply to your skin, there is no lingering oily residue to be found. I also absolutely adore the unique essential oil blends that are used in all the Rosemira products. The Beauty Revitalizing Serum has a nourishing rose base that makes it a pleasure to apply the oil and breathe in the soothing aroma of rose.
I also love the two cleansers I tried, the Aloe and Pink Grapefruit Gel and the Pineapples and Cream Cleansing Milk. Though I was again concerned that cleansing milk would be too heavy for my skin, it turned out to have a creamy but light texture that washes off cleanly.
One of my favorite of the Rosemira products has to be the Alluring Jasmine Butter. I tried a small sample size which lasted only about three days because I was so attracted to the bewitching Jasmine fragrance and yes, alluring creaminess of this fabulous body butter that I found myself applying it several times a day.
Rosemira skincare was created by former acupuncturist and chiropractor Mira Herman who has put her knowledge of natural medicine to work designing products that not only smell and feel good, but also provide real benefit to the skin. With an intuitive feel for the blending of just the right ingredients, Herman is able to make skincare products that are nurturing, effective and pleasurable to use.
In addition to a full line of face and body products, Rosemira also offers a unique service: individual skincare consultations. After assessing your skin (via video chat long distance), Dr. Herman will recommend a course of treatment and products. A sample pack of the recommended products are included in the cost of the consultation which is fifty dollars.
