Gail: “You’re trying to put my brother in prison, so why don’t you stop being nice to me. I find it very confusing.”

Things are about to get a lot worse at 15 Division because everyone’s getting transfers or promotions. Basically, the team is splitting up, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Aside from Andy and Dov briefly talking about where they would like to go, no one else really discussed this impending doom.
Odds are this would be the thing that everyone would be talking about. It would have been fun to see the gang maybe discuss the best and worst places they could get transferred to, or we could have even gone the heartbreaking route and had everyone share how much they will miss each other. Any hopes for where everyone ends up?
As if things weren’t bad enough for everyone at 15, Steve’s trial had begun. Gail was forced to choose between her family and her duty as a police officer to tell the truth. Steve Peck deserves a round of applause (shocking, right?). He realized what position their dad had put Gail in, and instead of watching her decide whether or not to lie for him, Steve plead guilty and took a plea deal.
Steve showed that he is still the man we all love. He picked Gail over himself. Steve gave up any chance of this going away in order to protect his sister. This was a great moment for Steve, and it allowed the viewers to see that there is still good in him.
Gail was at the courthouse all day, but don’t worry, people came by to keep her company. Chris Diaz proved that he is an A+ human being, while also reminding us all why he and Gail were once a couple. It was so great to see Chris looking out and being there for Gail when she clearly needed it.
Oliver Shaw is the captain of many, many ships, and not just the ones he creates when he hands out assignments. He has guided McSwarek through some tough times, and he also showed his support Nick and Juliet (Niet? Julick?). Oliver’s advice is one of the things that make him so lovable.
Was anyone else about to punch Andy when she was considering taking the job that Juliet offered? Sam and Andy really love their short term, undercover, out of the city missions. One of them goes on one and either comes back dating someone, or comes back to find the other person dating someone. If Sam and Andy have a pattern, running away is it.
This is the conversation that has been brewing ever since Marlo announced she was pregnant. It needed to happen. Andy needed to feel that she wasn’t keeping Sam from his family with Marlo and the baby, and Sam let her know that she was his family. It was an emotional McSwarek episode, but at least it ended happily with an adorable puppy. Is ordering a puppy in advance something people actually do?
