Ronin Pro Wrestling will be presenting their seventh show at the Broward College South Campus Gymnasium Saturday, July 25. While the official show stars at 7:30 p.m., there will be a pre-shot meet-and-greet with WWE Hall of Famer and former AWA World Heavyweight Champion “The Living Legend” Larry Zybysko, along with some pre-show matches that will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Ronin 7 will be a special night for the organization, as Alex Chamberlain, Donovan, Jesse Sorensen and “The Fitness Guru” Joey Bricco will compete in a fatal four-way match to see who will be crowned the first ever Ronin Heavyweight Champion. Bricco won a 24-man battle royal in January to win a spot in the championship bout, while Donovan earned his opportunity for having the best win-loss record in Ronin. Donovan was the former protégé of Bricco until Bricco assaulted Donovan after losing a six-man tag match that also featured Chamberlain and Sorensen, but Donovan got the last laugh as he laid out Bricco.
Both Chamberlain and Sorensen earned their spot in the title bout at Ronin 6 with the former beating Edward Malken and Deimos and the latter defeating Aron Agony and Nick Fame. Following Donovan’s match with Maxwell Chicago, Chamberlain shocked Ronin fans when he attacked Donovan. Donovan looked for retribution when Chamberlain came to congratulate Sorensen, igniting an all-out brawl that also included Bricco.
In Ronin’s inaugural table match, Jeff Boom and Monster Tarver will face The Savages. To say theirs is a bad blood between these four men might be an understatement. This is a rematch from the last Ronin show where Graves’ and Stigma’s valets, Amy Rose and Trina Michaels, interfere in the bout in order to give their men the victory. Before that, Stigma took on Boom and Tarver faced Graves in a No-DQ match at Ronin 6 where Michaels and Rose interjected themselves. Will lightning strike again in this anything-goes match where victory comes when one person is put another person through a table?
TECH, with their Jim Sherbert in their corner, will take on Team Lucha aka Cruz and Rios on Saturday night. The last time they were in the ring with each other, TECH tasted defeat at the last Ronin show in a show-stealing high-flying crazy six-man tag affair that included Lince Dorado and Aaron Solo. Rios and T.E.C.H have faced each other before at Ronin’s second show, where TECH got the win in that match. With both teams scoring a win each, will their TECH’s manager Jim Sherbert lead his team to the win column or will Cruz and Rios use some their aerial technique to over come Mike Monroe and TC Read again?
One-third of Team Lucha, Lince Dorado will be busy with Mr. 450. Dorado and Mr. 450 both won their respective bouts at the last show with Dorado in the six-man tag match and Mr. 450 scoring a victory against PJ Black (FKA Justin Gabriel). Before that, Dorado and Mr. 450 made their Ronin debuts when participated in a fatal-four way that included Aaron Solo and Mikaze where Mr. 450 walked away with the win. This match will see one of these men suffer their first pinfall loss in Ronin Pro Wrestling.
There are also other matches on the card that will be just as enjoyable as the other matches that were mentioned like “The Hashtag Warrior” and “The Nipple-plex Machine” Edward Malken going one-on-one with the lounge-singing Maxwell Chicago. “The Girl of 1001 Gimmicks” Leva Bates (aka NXT’s “Blue Pants”) will make her Ronin return on Saturday night when she will faces off against South Florida’s own Angel Rose. British wrestler Martin Stone makes his Ronin debut against Aaron Solo, who will be competing in his first one-one-one match in Ronin Pro Wrestling.
