Let’s talk about the Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza.
Before we get to the part about how the pizza tastes, first up are the basics. The pizza has a “multi-grain crust with flaxseed” and the toppings consist of “fire roasted bell peppers, spinach, fire roasted red onions, four cheese with roasted bell pepper sauce.” It contains no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no preservatives. Also, all profits are donated to charity.
As someone who has tasted quite a few different types of pizzas — homemade, takeout, and frozen — there are many pizzas that claim to be thin and crispy. Instead, they taste like cardboard, they’re rubbery, or they’re soggy. The Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza isn’t one of them. The crust is genuinely thin and crispy, not to mention delicious.
Now onto the toppings. The Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza was absolutely wonderful. It tasted fresh and flavorful, and it had a nice, decadent touch that didn’t taste like you were eating a pizza with so many healthy toppings. Don’t expect a ton of cheese with oodles of dripping sauce like you would get if you ordered from your pizza place up the block. Consider this a different type of delicious, but one that’s worth devouring.
I wanted to get the opinions of my nearest and dearest about what they thought of the Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza, so I handed some over to those who range in age from 1.5 years old to 95 years old. The biggest surprise came from a 7-year-old and 9-year-old, both of whom dislike vegetables. The 9-year-old is especially picky and would love to live off mac and cheese and hot dogs if he was allowed to. After handing them a couple of slices of the pizza, I had a takeout pizza on the side just in case. Once the two kids were done, I asked them if they wanted more of the Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza or if they wanted slices of the takeout pizza, and both chose the former. Not only did they devour the pizza, but they didn’t complain once about eating the vegetables. They both willingly ate SPINACH.
Comments coming from the adults (men and women) included saying that the pizza was “really good” as well as that they normally hate frozen pizza, but the Newman’s Own Mediterranean Thin & Crispy All Natural Pizza was delicious and they’re planning on eating it again. Talk about a taste-test success.
