Jessa Duggar Seewald, who’s 34 weeks pregnant with her first child, showed off her burgeoning baby bump on Instagram Sept. 22. Jessa, whose pregnancy fitness secret is weightlifting, was complimented by fans on her tiny baby bump and healthy glow.
Jessa, who’s due to give birth Nov. 1, will star in two or more TLC TV specials with sister Jill Duggar Dillard. Production on their TV specials will begin soon, and the shows will air by year-end, the AP reported.
The TV specials will feature Jill Duggar Dillard, 24, who will soon move to El Salvador for missionary work with her husband, Derick, and their infant son, and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald, 22, who’s expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald.
“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” said TLC executive vice president Nancy Daniels. “And we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”
Jessa and Jill made headlines earlier this year after revealing they had been molested as children by their brother Josh Duggar. The child molestation scandal caused TLC to cancel the family’s hit TV show, “19 Kids and Counting,” in July 2015 amid massive public outcry. No other TV specials featuring the Duggar family are planned.
Duggars Have Lost $25 Million After ’19 Kids’ Was Canceled
The Duggars earned $25,000 to $45,000 per episode of “19 Kids and Counting.” The show aired 227 episodes spanning 10 seasons from 2008 to 2015. The Duggars have reportedly lost income totaling $25 million a year as a result of lost book deals, endorsement and speaking engagements stemming from their TV show’s cancellation.
Josh, 27, his parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, were slammed after news surfaced that Josh had sexually fondled six underage girls (including sisters Jessa and Jill) when he was 14 years old. According to a police report, Josh fondled the girls’ breasts and genitals, in some cases when they were asleep.
Jim Bob Duggar told authorities Josh had apologized to his victims and they had “forgiven” him. Jim Bob has come under fire for waiting more than a year after Josh confessed to being a child molester before contacting the police, who received criminal complaints about Josh’s molestation from his other victims in 2006.
Jessa and Jill confirmed they were two of Josh’s victims. Both Jessa and Jill said they have forgiven their brother and are furious at the media for exaggerating their sexual abuse, insisting Josh is not a rapist or a pedophile.
In August 2015, Josh admitted being addicted to porn and cheating on his wife after his two Ashley Madison sex accounts were leaked online. Josh called himself a hypocrite for having affairs using Ashley Madison, an online dating service that helps married people cheat on their spouses. Duggar has since entered a six-month faith-based rehab center to treat his sex and porn addictions.
