Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Sunday August 23, 2015. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Matthew Shane Bussey, 38, of Jonesboro was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Bussey was released on 8/24 after paying a $215 cash fine. See also (4/18/2010)
Jason Rodney Cheatwood, 32, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Cheatwood remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (7/5/2015)
Jeffrey Kent Couzzort, 43, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Couzzort remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (6/5/2015)
Robert Paul Kohnke, 47, of Lagrange was arrested and charged with no driver’s license and failure to obey stop sign. Kohnke was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $1,560.
Travis Dewayne Proctor, 31, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with second degree forgery, no proof of insurance, driving with no license o person and license plate violation. Proctor remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (11/16/2014)
Demarco Ahramud Reid, 33, of Decatur was arrested on two counts DUI with child endangerment, DUI by refusal, child safety belt violations, suspended license and failure to maintain lane. Reid was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $10,280.
Lewis Wayne Buck Rhodes, 18, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving without a license. Rhodes was released the same day after posting a $1,410 property bond.
Zachary Adam Richardson, 24, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Richardson was released the same day after posting a $1,000 property bond.
Zackery Howard Russell, 24, of Aragon was arrested on a warrant for non-payment of child support. Russell remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $5,246.41 cash bond has been set. See also (4/1/2015)
Raymond Smith Jr., 34, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while unlicensed, turn signal violation, interference with government property, stop sign violation, failure to maintain lane, fleeing and suspended registration. Smith remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $14,200 have been set. See also (1/10/2010)
