Who doesn’t love a paper fan?
It may be a Kid’s Club idea this week at Michael’s Stores, but doesn’t everyone love making paper fans? I think that many people of all ages have folded up a piece of paper on a hot day and created a handmade fan to wave at themselves to cool off on a hot summer day.
Handmade paper fans are a cool idea and are fun to use, but they are also enjoyable to make and kids can go to their local Michael’s Stores and learn how to make their own one of a kind paper fan for themselves or for a friend or family member.
On May 30th from 10 to 12pm, Michael’s will have it Kid’s Club event and paper fans will be this week’s colorful project for children. Warmer weather is breaking the barriers of the season and now would be a great time to make and use a paper fan in case of a burst of heat on a spring day.
Kids will love to make their own personal fan. They will flutter with pride while keeping cool on those hot days of spring and summer. It is a affordable and easy project for kids to learn to make. All you need is paper and craft sticks. On Saturday, Michael’s will supply these items for a fee and kids will have a fun time while learning how to make a new and exciting project. And with all the beautiful designed paper these days they can be very creative and unique when making a fan.
Barbeques, outings and parties are also on the calendar this spring and summer. How about using paper fans as part of your party theme for a special occasion or holiday? There are so many designs and colors to choose from. You can keep cool with creative party favors or decorations that will be a great addition to your summer get together. Your guests will appreciate this cool idea and kids will be able to help make these fun fans.
Children can also create a gift to give to someone special to keep them cool too. Once they know how to make them, they can buy the supplies to make many fans. Keeping your temperature down with a cute handmade paper fan will make a child smile with pride because kids will love making and using these easy to make creative craft fans. They are quick and easy to make so kids and adults alike can learn to make cool fans. After learning. you can have a kids or birthday party with a paper fan project as their party craft.
So visit your local Michael’s this weekend and have you child join the Kid’s Club paper fan project week.
