Finding a job just got little easier thanks to the efforts of the Central Florida Employment Council (CFEC). Recently the CFEC announced they will be helping to host six job fairs in 2016. During 2015 CFEC successfully hosted several jobs that helped to employ thousands in the metro and surrounding areas.
The schedule for the planned job fairs:
January 27, 2016 – Mayor’s Job Fair
March 30, 2016 – Central Florida Employment Council Job Fair
May 18, 2016 – Orlando Mayor’s Job Fair
July 13, 2016 – Central Florida Employment Council Job Fair
September 7, 2016 Governor’s Job Fair
November 2, 2015 Central Florida Employment Council Job Fair
All of the job fairs are free to job seekers. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required to attend the job fair. While the CFEC will be helping to host job fair next year this organization goes beyond that. The CFEC is available to assist job seekers with job search strategies and interviewing skills. For those who lost a job there is a job loss support group as well as other services.
The job fairs will be held at the Central Florida Fair Exposition Park, 4603 W Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL. Doors open for job seekers at 12 noon and ends at 4 PM. Parking is free to all job seekers. To pre-register for any of these job fairs go to: Central Florida Employment Council.
Jobs remain a good resource for job seekers that take the time to prepare. Prior to each job fair the CFEC website lists the participating employers. This gives the job seeker an advantage to research a company before meeting with the company recruiter at the job fair. Coming to the job fair dressed for an interview and asking enthusiasm questions sets a job seeker apart from the masses. With unemployment dropping the hunt for talent will increase with job fairs an excellent .
