What better setting to celebrate a new season of swimwear, resort wear, and accessories, than in the prestigious Palm Beaches, as the month of November begins. While other areas of the nation are buckling down for the winter chill, Palm Beach is gearing up to spend short days and long weekends in the wickedly warm South Florida sunshine.
Unveiling the 2016 season trend-setting fashions, Palm Beach Swim Week will give anxious attendees a glimpse of luxurious fashions that can be worn all year round in the spirit of the Palm Beach lifestyle. The Palm Beach Photographic Centre and the American Society of Media Photographers are ecstatic to present Palm Beach Swim Week at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach. This venue is the perfect setting as the enticing Intracoastal is just steps away. From Thursday, November 5, 2015 through Sunday, November 8, 2015, runway shows will take place from 6:00 p.m. and continue all the way up to 9:00 p.m.with nonstop fashion action. Opening night will feature a special performance by the Palm Beach Makos Cheerleaders. The grand finale will be a night filled with fashion memories.
The word is spreading as over 100 fashion designers have applied to debut in the upcoming fashion shows and many have specifically designed their clothing line to be featured in the style and spirt of the Palm Beaches.
President of Fusion Fashion & Art Productions, Lilyana Eisele, is lovely and soft-spoken, but at the same time, ambitious and determined, with a passion to make Palm Beach Swim Week and Palm Beach Fashion Week the most highly recognized fashion events in the entire state of Florida on an annual basis. That desire is igniting with had work as last year, Fusion Fashion & Art produced the largest fashion week in the state of Florida under one roof. A solid foundation is being laid and preparing the groundwork to bring Palm Beach Swim Week as part of the show series which will celebrate its 4th big year. While Swim Week excites fashion enthusiasts making them wish for more, they can eagerly look forward to Palm Beach Fashion Week in early 2016.
Not only is this upcoming event considered a showcase of exquisite designers’ fashions, but this year’s unique partnership with the Photographic Center and co-presenter, the American Society of Media Photographers , will offer unique opportunities for photographers, models and other industry professionals to engage with the Photographic Center and learn more about what it is that they do. Also, ASMP brings much in the way of valuable knowledge to the national photographic community.
The Palm Beach Photographic Centre is a 501(c)3 nonprofits arts organization dedicated to the enhancement of community through the photographic arts. The American Society is also a 501(c)3 professional arts organization founded in 1944. Over 200 request for media passes have been submitted for the shows. Over 500 local, national, and international models have applied to walk the runway in the shows. Interviews and castings are underway.
