The Notre Dame vs. Temple live TV and streaming online game will feature one of the 2015 NCAA football matchups on Saturday involving two ranked squads from the nation. The Fighting Irish currently sit at No. 9 overall with a record of 6-1, and are just 1-1 on the road so far. However, they’ll have a tough challenge ahead in the form of a 7-0 Temple Owls team which is 3-0 at home. The 2015 NCAA football game live stream and televised presentation comes via ABC or ESPN networks on Saturday night.
The Philly.com website reported on Oct. 31 that today marks Notre Dame’s third road game on the season, and their first since losing at Clemson in a game involving a late two-point conversion. The Fighting Irish also survived a near upset earlier in the season at Virginia, but instead a late 39-yard touchdown with 12 seconds to go saved their game. Now they head to South Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field for what has the makings of a great matchup that will play out in primetime.
Notre Dame currently ranks No. 32 among all teams with 3,492 yards of total offense, averaging almost 500 a game. They’ve been balanced with 1,850 yards in the air and 1,642 on the ground and rank No. 15 for points scored at 38 per game. Temple is much lower down the offensive leader list at No. 113 and has 2,421 total yards with an average of 346 a game. However, they excel defensively, ranking No. 8 in the nation in terms of points allowed, giving up just 14.6 to opponents a game. That should definitely provide an interesting contrast in terms of tonight’s game in Philadelphia.
The odds favor the visitors even with Temple’s undefeated record. The Fighting Irish are a -400 moneyline favorite and are listed as 10-1/2 point favorites on the spread. Temple is a +355 underdog, with the over/under points total sitting at 52 points for the game. In terms of 2016 National Championship aspirations, the futures list has Notre Dame as 12 to 1 favorites to win it all, while Temple is nowhere to be found on the list. However, a win tonight will certainly boost their name into possible contenders, but they may need more than just that to qualify for a playoff berth.
Tonight’s Notre Dame vs. Temple NCAA football game has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The game will be televised live on ABC for United States viewers to enjoy. Live streaming online coverage can be found on the ESPN3 website or mobile apps for cable and satellite customers with access to them. For live game commentary, Sirius XM Radio subscribers can listen at 7 p.m. ET on channels 84 or 129 for the home, and away team coverage, respectively.
