After a successful European tour alongside Halestorm, both Nothing More and Wilson are once again coming together to take over the United States.
The Texas based Nothing More have been tons of making noise, as they have been getting bigger since their festival debut at Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival in 2013. Within hours of their first performance on a side stage, they were asked back to perform again the next day on the main stage in front of thousands of people to which the entire crowd fell in love with them. Within a year, they were signed to a large indie label, Eleven Seven Music and quickly began touring nationally as well as internationally with their fan base continually growing and thankfully keeping up as well.
With their self titled debut album, they are currently on their latest single release “Jenny” (which you can watch the video here or by clicking the title) which is a video to bring awareness to those who are battling Mental Awareness, and thus the tour is also being dubbed “The Jenny Tour.”
The tour is ready to be underway and the dates are listed below as well as available online. The tour is is offering a new PledgeMusic campaign which will be raising money to select foundations that support research and awareness into Mental Health. From purchasing music and posters or t-shirts to meet and greets and private show are being offered; Fans can check out the options here. http://pledgemusic.com/nothingmore
Fans can interact about “Jenny” throughout social media, using the corresponding social media hashtag #iknowJenny. Facts, quotes and relevant articles will be shared by the band on their website via http://bit.ly/iknowJenny and on their tumblr, Facebook and twitter accounts.
The tour has partnered up with To Write Love On Her Arms, Bring Change 2 Mind, International Bipolar Foundation, The Jed Foundation and Young Minds (UK) to spread the facts about mental health to music fans worldwide. More information on these organizations are available below and on their websites.
Detroit party rockers Wilson have also recently been making a lot of noise aside from their energy driver entertaining sets, where most fans have no idea what kind of silly hijinks one of the members might do. Kyle Landry is known for climbing sets while still performing and performs hanging upside down. Back on a more serious and positive note, they have recently been signed to Razor & Tie Records and are due to release their sophomore album Right To Rise on June 30th.
Getting a quick chance to chat to guitarist, Jason Spencer, he quoted, “Prepare your earholes for this next tour with our dudes in Nothing More… we’ve got some fresh cut f*ckery for you!” Emphasizing while the tour is a something of a serious nature, it still means, everyone is out for a having a great time and putting a smile on everyone’s faces.
