Another week has drawn to a close in Atlanta making it one week closer to school openings in Gwinnett. It is also time to recap all that the gluten-free restaurant, shopping, and dining scene has to offer. This week’s contenders feature shopping, openings, restaurants with gluten-free options, and the addition of gluten-free products to restaurant menus:
Burger 21 just opened a new location July 27th at Chastain Square on Roswell Road in north Buckhead. They offer gluten-free buns, sides, and fries.
Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit Co. pops are now available at more than 90 Kroger locations in metro Atlanta. Their pops are made with real fruit, filtered water and organic cane sugar, which means they are free of artificial colors and flavors. All of their pops are vegan and they have a dark chocolate flavor!
Good Karma Coffee Shop has added hummingbird muffin to its lineup of gluten-free, vegan, and soy-free muffins. The banana pineapple spice cake muffin is topped with cream cheese and looks delicious. Call before driving over to see if it’s available because their muffin selection changes daily!
Juice Bar is coming to Virginia-Highland in September at 1402 North Highland Avenue. All of Juice Bar’s juices, smoothies, salads, and snacks are made on-site daily with fruits and vegetables that are delivered daily. Made from raw ingredients, their juices are free of added sugars, pre-mixed syrups, additives and artificial colors/flavors.
Pinkberry has added Strawberry Margarita and Blueberry to its summer flavor options. Both flavors are made with real fruit and are alcohol free. Stop by one of the three Pinkberry locations to get your swirl on!
Table & Main will be celebrating their 4th anniversary on Sunday, August 16. Stop by to toast to the restaurant’s first four years of providing Roswell with a simple, seasonal, and southern dining experience.
Tipple + Rose Tea Parlor and Apothecary is having its soft opening today and offers Bulk Teas + Spices, High Tea, Desserts, Light Bites, Housemade Body Products + Vintage Mercantile. The store, which is Doria’s baby, is filled with found and vintage items that create a welcoming atmosphere. Calavino and Doria are continuing with their tradition of promoting local businesses by offering products from: Bitter Southerner, Nicobela Chocolates, NaturAlmond, Phickles Pickles, Popstars, Proof, and many more. Gluten-free bread for tea sandwiches and gluten-free scones are coming, but are not in place just yet.
