On Saturday, a lovely senior dog named “Charlotte,” attended an adoption event at a Petco store in Snellville, Georgia. Charlotte was wearing a lovely necklace, she had her nails done and she sat near the door to greet the shoppers who entered the store…but nobody inquired about meeting her.
According to the Society of Humane Friends of Georgia, Charlotte has been waiting to be noticed for weeks…her rescuers wrote:
All Charlotte wants is a nice retirement home, with a soft bed where she can lay her head at night. She has a few minor medical issues due to her age and rough past, but they’re nothing that can’t be managed with inexpensive medication and a little TLC.
Charlotte has a laundry list of wonderful attributes…according to her foster mom, Charlotte gets along well with other (calm) dogs, she is indifferent to cats and she enjoys going for car rides. Charlotte is already house-broken and crate trained and she would meld easily into most households.
Please take a moment to help Charlotte get noticed – she just needs one special person to realize what a wonderful girl she is.
