Today, Donald Trump continues to baffle pundits who usually are the aces who are paid big bucks handle the drive. They are the warriors behind the scenes who put everything together, who handle any crisis and they are the ones who tried very hard to keep their candidate out of scandal or interpret what a candidate said off the cuff but they really meant something. What Trump has done, is say what he wants and makes not apologizes. Trump tells Trumpettes (one who follows Trump) he isn’t and won’t be politically correct. If you want politically correct, find another candidate. Trump is playing politics his way, on his terms and will tell anyone who will listen he is going to win the Republican nomination and will beat any Democrat thrown his way, including Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.
The one thing Donald Trump is not, is shy. He hasn’t met a social media site he doesn’t love. Today, Trump also proudly retweeted that a new poll has Trump is in the lead of republicans with 31% of the possible vote, followed by Bush at 15%. Trump certainly changed the way the game is played. He has also found common ground with angry citizens by having plans for the government that no other politician have suggested. Tonight a new CNN /ORC International poll shows Trump with 22 % of the possible votes in the Iowa caucus.
Trump’s plans include building a wall along the entire U.S.-Mexico border and he will deport all illegal immigrants. Trump remarked, “”I want to move them out and we’re gonna move them back in and let them be legal but they have to be here legally.” When it comes to ISIS Trump insists that the United States must, “”I would put boots on the ground in those areas,” and that as President, “ I would take the oil because what you’re doing is you’re cutting off a big portion of their money source. I would knock the hell out of them.”
On trade, Trump believes that the United States needs to address policies by the Federal Reserve that have threatened the long-term health of the American economy and undermine the value of the dollar. On the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trump remarks that it is “an attack on American business, “and that China is deliberately trying to flood the U.S market weakening the US market. He said of China, they “are truly hurting our economy and our jobs” and that President Obama’s visit to China was “celebrating the fact that they’re (China) ripping us off.”
One area that appeals to so many Americans is what Trump thinks about illegal immigrants and that the flow of these people are taking American jobs, those of the middle class and as such they are weakening the core of the United States, blue collar workers. Trump believes it a national travesty that more isn’t being done to protect our national borders. As for immigrants flooding the western parts of this country Trump believes that we need to fortify the nation’s borders by building “a real wall” to keep immigrants out is a necessary. Trump’s ideas may not be conventional but they are catching fire with voters. Only time will tell if the voters want to extinguish the flame.
