Week 11 of the 2015 NFL schedule will get underway tonight when the Tennessee Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. These two teams may not be playoff bound, however they both have been playing pretty good football of late, and they definitely have played better than their records indicate.
According to a CBS Sports report, Week 11 is almost like an early round of the playoffs for many teams already on the proverbial playoff bubble. Both the NFC and AFC have several teams within a game or two of each other for a playoff berth, and as cliché as it may sound, it is very true – every game is a big game from here on out.
When you look at this weekend’s schedule, there isn’t one game that that does not impact the playoff race in some way. Outside of Cleveland, Detroit, Dallas and Tennessee every team has a shot at the postseason. Heck, the way this season has gone so far, if any of those teams could actually win 2 games in a row, they may be right back in the race as well, especially Dallas.
The Cowboys may be 2-7, but the first place Giants are only 5-5. Outside of the Patriots and Panthers, who both are still perfect on the season at 9-0, the postseason bracket spots are all still wide open. Last week we were not perfect, however, once again we picked more winners than losers, and that is what matters!
The weekly picks finished 3-2 last week, but the Jets were losers to the Bills on TNF, evening the picks out at 3-3. However, we did have Houston +11 vs Cincinnati on Monday night, putting the weekly total at 4-3.
