Both the Patriots and the Panthers won last week to keep their perfect records intact. The NFL’s last two remaining undefeated teams both face tough foes this week, though, to try and stay undefeated.
Here is a list of the betting odds and lines plus the over/unders for all the NFL games this week in Week 12 of the 2015 season. There are three games this week on Thanksgiving Day and at least one of the games looks great on paper because it features the undefeated Carolina Panthers playing on the road vs a now dangerous foe who got their starting QB back last week and promptly won for the first time since the QB got injured.
- Eagles -1 at Lions (O/U is 45.5)
The first Thanksgiving Day game is kind of a turkey this week featuring the 4-6 Eagles as a one point favorite over the 3-7 Lions. The Eagles have lost two in a row coming into this game and the Lions have won two in a row. If you believe in momentum take the Lions. Looks like Sam Bradford will play for the Eagles and his record as a starting QB is 22-35-1 while Matthew Stafford is 38-49 for the Lions.
- Panthers -1 at Cowboys (O/U is 45.5)
The second Thanksgiving game looks to be a good one. Dallas is 3-0 this season with Tony Romo starting and 0-7 without him. For their careers, Tony Romo is 78-48 as a starting NFL QB while Cam Newton is 40-31-1. Looking forward to watching this game.
- Bears +9 at Packers (O/U is 47)
Can the Bears give the Packers a game this week on Thanksgiving night in Lambeau Field? Jay Cutler has a cannon for an arm so you always have to give him a puncher’s chance.
- New York Giants -2 at Redskins (O/U is 47)
The Redskins got demolished by the Panthers last week 44-16. Shame on anybody who thought Kirk Cousins and his career record of 6-13 was a good bet last week. Eli Manning of the Giants has a career record of 96-81. Whoever throws the fewest picks will probably win this game.
- Vikings +2 at Falcons (O/U is 45.5)
The Vikings were even money last week vs the Packers and laid an egg. This week you can get points taking the Vikings if you thought last week was an aberration. The Falcons have now lost three straight. Matt Ryan does own a career record of 72-48 as a starting NFL QB but he’s just 16-26 since the 2012 season ended.
- Saints +3 at Texans (O/U is 47.5)
Brian Hoyer has been cleared to play this week and he will start for the Texans. Hoyer has a career record of 13-9 as a starting NFL QB and that includes starting 16 games for the Browns. Drew Brees career record is 121-89 but over his last 25 starts he’s just 11-14. If you believe in momentum take the Texans here as they’ve won three straight and the Saints have lost two in a row.
- Rams +9.5 at Bengals (O/U is 42)
Jeff Fisher is now 24-33-1 as the head coach of the Rams. The way Fisher handled the Case Keenum concussion last week it’s a wonder he still has his job. The Rams will likely go back to Nick Foles this week at QB and Foles is 19-14 lifetime as a NFL QB. The Bengals should win this game but will they cover a big spread?
- Buccaneers +3 at Colts (O/U is 47)
Matt Hasselbeck is now 3-0 filling in for Andrew Luck this season. For his career, Hasselbeck is 83-72. If Jameis Winston plays this week like he did last week, though, the Buccaneers are a live underdog in this game. Winston is now 5-5 as a NFL starting QB which is not bad for a rookie.
- Bills +4 at Chiefs (O/U is 41)
The Chiefs are on a serious roll as they have won four straight to get to 5-5 on the season. The Bills are also 5-5 on the season and this is a pivotal game for both these teams. Alex Smith is 62-52-1 as a starting QB in the NFL. Tyrod Taylor is 4-3 for the Bills. Taylor looked hurt at the end of the Patriots game but if he’s healthy the Bills have a shot here.
- Raiders -2 at Titans (O/U is 44)
The Raiders have lost three in a row but are still favored by two points on the road this week vs the Titans. Home underdogs are usually dangerous in the NFL so the Titans could surprise here.
- Dolphins +3.5 at New York Jets (O/U is 42.5)
The Jets have announced that once again Ryan Fitzpatrick is starting at QB. Again, is that really a good thing? Fitzpatrick is now 38-60-1 as a NFL starting QB. So the Dolphins would look really good here as an underdog but their QB is Ryan Tannehill who has a career record of 27-31 in the NFL.
- Chargers +4 at Jaguars (O/U is 46.5)
The Chargers didn’t even bother to show up last week vs the Chiefs and they were humiliated by a score of 33-3. The Jaguars have now won two straight but they beat the Ravens and Titans. If the Chargers bother to show up this week they should be a live underdog on the road.
- Cardinals -10 at 49ers (O/U is 44.5)
Bet on Blaine Gabbert at your own risk this week or any week in the NFL. Gabbert now has a career record of 6-23 as a NFL starting QB. Carson Palmer is now 24-8 as the starting QB for the Arizona Cardinals.
- Steelers +4.5 at Seahawks (O/U is 44.5)
Ben Roethlisberger did not get credit as the starting QB in the Steelers win over the Browns because he came in to replace injured Landry Jones in the first quarter but he threw for 379 yards and three TDs. If Roethlisberger is healthy this week you have to give the Steelers a shot in Seattle in Week 12 of the NFL season.
- Patriots -3 at Broncos (O/U is 44)
How many injuries can the Patriots overcome? It’s a huge testament to Belichick and Brady that the Pats are favored this week over the Broncos in Denver even with Brock Osweiler starting for the Broncos.
- Ravens +2.5 at Browns (O/U is 41.5)
With Joe Flacco out, Matt Schaub is starting this game for the Ravens at QB. Schaub has a lifetime record of 46-44 as a starter. He has not started a game since 2013. Johnny Manziel was slated to start for the Browns but after video emerged of him partying over the bye week it’s unclear who will start for the Browns. Manziel is 1-4 lifetime as a NFL starting QB and Josh McCown is 18-38.
