Ram brand announced today (June 9) pricing for their new Ram 1500 Laramie Limited luxury benchmark pickup truck that is arriving this summer. The new Laramie Limited is a “black-tie” luxury alternative to the popular southwestern-themed Laramie Longhorn edition pickup – aimed at drivers wanting a bit more added sophisticated styling and luxury.
According to Ram, the new 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Limited will be the benchmark in truck opulence – featuring premium materials such as all-black, full-leather seating; real wood interior components; and unique badges all designed and presented in opulent detail.
“Among Ram Truck’s greatest strengths is our ability to quickly react to customer demand,” said Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand — FCA US LLC when revealing the new Laramie at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. “The new Laramie Limited trim is a perfect example of how Ram directly responds to customer input with the highest level of luxury available in pickups. The Laramie Limited trim exceeds the high expectations of affluent truck buyers by combining capability with refinement.”
Ram Laramie Limited Pricing
The new Ram Limited will be offered as a Crew Cab with a choice of either 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrains powered by either the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 or the 5.7L HEMI V8.
The 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 Laramie Limited is priced at $53,795 for the 4×2 and $57,300 for the 4×4.
The Laramie Limited 5.7L HEMI V8 MSRP is $50,675 for the 4×2 and $54,180 for the 4×4.
Refined Premium Features include
The Limited’s all-new grille is the most prominent change of the exterior. As the leading point, its new billet port grille breaks from the long tradition of crosshair styling with bold “RAM” lettering. Additional chrome exterior accents and a chrome “RAM” tailgate logo distinguish the Limited model. Limited also features an all-new 20-inch forged multi-surface aluminum wheel – unique in the truck market.
Subtle stitching accents, pinstriping, unique materials and patterns are found throughout the interior. A new console bin houses a cellular phone and tablet holder, which can be concealed with a new tambour sliding door made from Black Argento wood, from selected timber destined for the Limited interior. The silver pinstripe theme runs through the truck, including black premium Berber carpet inserts, which can easily be removed from the floor mats to reveal double-duty slush mats.
Laramie Limited Distinctive Coming and Going
Anchoring the new billet port grille at each end, you see a quad headlamp design that includes a bi-functional halogen projector system placed in a dark background. Fifteen amber LEDs illuminate park/turn/position lamps and three amber LEDs serve as the side marker lights. Additional luxury detail includes the vertically ribbed inner lens that softens the glow and retains the improved visual component of the segment exclusive LEDs. To complete the new look, a Ram shield logo is molded into the housing, and the Ram name molded into the inside of the outer lens.
At the rear, accenting the 20-inch-wide, bright chrome “RAM” badge is a new a new chrome accent strip lining the base of the gate. Premium tail lamps are equipped with 15 red LEDs and three red LEDs for the side marker. A frosted inner lens creates a unique visual and softens the glow.
Exterior features front and rear include a body-color front fascia with fog lamps and a matching, painted rear bumper. For added flash, an optional exterior package covers the front and rear bumpers in bright chrome.
As the new Ram Laramie Limited passes by riding on the all-new 20-inch forged multi-surface aluminum wheel with polished surfaces accented by silver paint – one will see a side profile dressed in chrome accents and body-side molding with etched “Limited” mirrors, door handles, window molding and standard wheel-to-wheel side steps.
Black Tie Detail Inside
The new Laramie Limited all-black leather cockpit features seats covered in Black Natura Plus premium leather with pinstripe stitching designs and Graystone leather piping marking the stitching peaks. The interior draws from its Longhorn southwestern heritage borrowing the idea of rear flap-closure seatback map pockets with modern, chrome Ram-lettered buckles that are unique to Laramie Limited.
All of the passenger soft touch points receive extra attention such as the newly designed, deep and double-stacked center console that is topped with a French-stitched full-leather lid and pronounced Limited badge. The Black Argento tambour sliding door over the cell phone and tablet compartment features a silver pinstripe theme running through the wood with a satin chrome handle that rolls the door with ease.
The new distinctive steering wheel for the Laramie Limited is leather-wrapped from the 2 o’clock to 10 o’clock positions. The remaining portion of the steering wheel receives high-gloss Black Argento treatment with silver accent lines. A-pillar and B-pillar handles feature a leather wrap with more of the Graystone stitching.
The Laramie Limited Ram 1500 is equipped with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and features a rotary machine-spun aluminum shifter mounted on the instrument panel with knurled edges for firmer grip.
The new instrument panel unit features a black mask background with liquid graphite-faced gauges that are surrounded with diamond knurled, liquid chrome rings. The gauge needles are finished in white with liquid graphite painted hubs. The instrument panel is topped with Graystone accent stitching and fitted with a liquid graphite glove box spear, pinstripe design and understated “Limited” badge.
The 2015 Laramie Limited is equipped with the next generation 8.4-inch Uconnect system with standard navigation in the center stack. The center stack is finished off with K-black Dark Metallic paint, Argento inlays and surrounded by large liquid graphite bezels.
Door trims are layered in premium leather. Armrest uppers are accented with matched French stitching and pinstripe stitching designs. And, uncommon to trucks, the top of the door panel is covered in ultra-soft Natura Plus leather. Again, high-gloss Argento wood spears with silver accent lines are used above the armrest upper and satin chrome trim rings and badges for subtle elegance.
The new Ram Laramie Limited interior is completed with remote LED lighting at the inside door handles, and a full-length light that illuminates the truck’s multifunction lower map pockets, front and rear plus lighting in the foot wells.
The Laramie Limited 1500 will include other popular Ram 1500 features like air suspension, wheel-to-wheel side steps, navigational radio, remote start, backup camera, power adjustable pedals with memory, heated steering wheel, front ventilated and heated seats, heated rear seats and the segment exclusive RamBox (Heavy Duty, 6-foot, 4-inch bed only).
The Laramie Limited trim will be available in Ram 1500 Crew Cab with four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive plus short- and long-wheelbase models. There will be seven exterior color choices, including: Brilliant Black, Bright Silver Metallic, Pearl White, Red Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic and True Blue Pearl.
