UPDATE: Natalie has returned home safely. Her parents and friends are thrilled and want to thank everyone who prayed, searched, or shared information that led to her returning. Continue to pray for missing children throughout our nation that they will also be returned.
Every parent’s worst nightmare is for darkness to fall, not knowing where your child might be. Natalie’s story is more common than we might realize. Unless you are the parent of a child who left home with no clue as to where they are, who they are with, or what harm, if any, is coming to them you cannot understand the agony of this family.
Today, May 4, 2015, the Fayette County Investigation Team in Georgia has given Natalie Loewer’s parents the go ahead to contact the media regarding her disappearance.
Natalie Loewer is the daughter of Dennis and Lori Loewer of Fayetteville, Georgia. She is sixteen years old soon to be seventeen. She is 5’5” and weighs 115 pounds. Like so many young girls from time to time she has changed her hair color. Check the slide show for other recent photos of her.
She apparently left home in the early morning hours of Thursday, Apri1 30, 2015, and has not been seen or heard from since. Her parents are devastated and are trying to leave no stone upturned in an effort to bring their precious child back home.
While at this time there is no evidence of foul play that is always a possibility when a young person leaves home for the first time out in the vast unknown with danger lurking around every corner. There is an evil element out there just waiting to find a beautiful young girl like her. Every day young women are caught up in the sex trade when they are alone and vulnerable.
If you know Natalie personally and have any idea you might have the least little bit of information that might help to lead to her whereabouts please contact Fayette County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia or call 911. You might leave her a message on her Facebook page.
Her parents, along with thousands of concerned friends, neighbors, and church members love her very much. She is a sweet and precious girl, and she needs to know anything that is bothering her can be worked out for her good. Many of her church members met on Saturday to canvas local areas to hand out her photo.
Natalie if you receive this message, please understand that your parents are tormented by your separation, and they want you home more than anything in the world. Do you have adequate identification with you in case you are hurt or injured?
There has been a special Facebook Page (Help Us Bring Natalie Home) set up for you and so you can contact them via that page to let them know you are okay. Readers, please “like” the page and comment. You can also invite others to forward the message as well.
That would help relieve some of their anxiety and worry; but the thing that would make them most happy would be for you to come home, give them a great big hug, and talk things out to find solutions to the reason why you left.
Natalie, if you are safe, will you please call someone and let them know. Call someone you trust and just let them know you are okay… there are a lot of bad things out there, and we are all concerned for your safety. There is NOTHING that cannot be worked out. I am going to send you my phone number in a back message on Facebook and all you have to do is call and say “I am okay!”
Your parents are worried sick, and so are your friends and even grandmothers like me. If you don’t want to go back home just yet, let someone know you are safe and logistics can be worked out later.
Parents have responsibility to their children but… older children also have responsibility to their parents as well. Natalie, Mother’s Day is approaching and how horrible for Lori, if you are not there to help celebrate her special day.
Natalie, there is no mountain too high and no river too deep that God’s love is not higher and deeper… we all go through difficult times in our lives and sometimes we really just don’t know what to do or where to turn; and in our confusion sometimes we make mistakes, but they can be corrected and we can daily be made new again…
You are not here by any mistake… God had you in mind before you were ever born and you should know just how really special you are to others. Sometimes we don’t really know that – but you are.
There is no other young lady like you in the entire world… not even if she has the same name. Many times things happen in our lives when we get confused and turned around and sometimes we even think that people don’t know or understand and perhaps many don’t… but God does.
Nothing or no one is ever lost because God knows where everything and everyone is. There is no place we can be without God knowing exactly where we are. We can choose our actions; but we cannot choose the consequences.
There is just no getting around it – God is with you as close as your next breath, and you are so special to Him and God don’t make “no junk.” You are created in His image with great potential to accomplish so many things with the talents and gifts that you have; some gifts you might not even know about.
I am praying for you that He will guide….lead… direct… bless…. and protect you all the days of your life and that you will come to realize just how much you are truly loved..
There is no problem that can’t be worked out together with God and your family. You can handle it together. If you wish, you can get in touch with me, and we can seek solutions together. Or contact any of the ladies at church who would be more than willing to help you through this difficult time. Harp’s 770-461-5349
“Do you know that you are still on God’s drawing/painting of you and He is not finished with you yet and what He has planned for your life you will one day look back and be amazed at all He can do with a life dedicated to Him.
If you are checking your Facebook for your messages, I have a great one for you… You are God’s personal project, and you are of utmost importance to Him… Will you do just one thing if you are reading this – call your parents and let them know that you are okay…
Whatever is your challenge right now it is not too big for God. For with God, all things are possible. If something is bothering you; He has an answer. If you need help, He is the answer. Believe me I would not lie to you.
If you need to speak to someone who cares and will listen, go to my Facebook page and send a private message… no one will see it but you and me. Ask for my phone number, and I will give it to you… I will give you as much time as you need to help you in any way that I can. Please do not stay away until some unfortunate situation arises that puts you in harm’s way.
There is help out here for you… the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one tiny step – won’t you take that step and call your parents – if not call me… Patricia McCullough Walston.
