For all you fellow Rock music fans, there are many bands that have been very busy recently touring and dropping albums. I have had the honor of covering festivals on the road all over the U.S. this year, shooting hundreds of bands and interviewing over 6 dozen of them. Here are 3 bands that we’ve covered that you need to see live and pick up their new albums.
For Rock music lovers world-wide, Breaking Benjamin is back. Thanks to their long time label Hollywood Records, their new album “Dark Before Dawn” is out now. That is great news for the fans who have been waiting for new music after a short hiatus lasting from early 2010 to late 2014. Front-man Ben Burnley Produced and composed almost the entire album before the new line-up played together. Fans have embraced the new lineup with huge crowds every time Breaking Benjamin has taken the stage. Not only that, “Dark Before Dawn” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The band is currently in the midst of a world tour right now and if you have not seen this band live I urge you to get to a show when they hit a stage near you. Until then, get your Breaking Benjamin fix by scooping up “Dark Before Dawn”.
Papa Roach in my opinion puts on the best live show ever. They play songs that die hard fans beg for and incorpate their new music. Front man Jacoby makes every show an experience. He often jumps into the crowd and will high five, shake hands and even hug fans. It is a truely awesome experience. So what is new with Papa Roach? Their new album “F.E.A.R.” (distributed by Eleven Seven Music) sold 24,425 copies in the United States in its first week of release. Be part of the legion of Papa Roach fans, get to a show (they are constantly touring) and pick up F.E.A.R.
BobaFlex just put out their 7th album “Anything That Moves”. My first chance to hear music from the new album was at the Loudwire Festival in Grand Junction, Colorado in late June this year. I was sitting at the media tent during sound check when I heard a song that was new to me but made me want to run to the front of the stage to rock out. The song was “Mamma Don’t Take My Drugs Away” off of BobaFlex’s new album “Anything That Moves”. That is what their music will do… it will make you get up and move. But as always I am going to tell you to not take my word for it. Go out and see a BobaFlex show now and scoop up your copy as soon as you can.
